Morekuri Safaris is the rebirth of the old Ngata Safari lodge in the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve.
From camping in the wilderness of Botswana, to touring the Kruger National Park, to sitting on the porch and just enjoying that beautiful African sunset in Dinokeng, the African bushveld has always been our great love where we find peace and happiness.
We absolutely love the bushveld and we are very fortunate to have been living in the Dinokeng Game Reserve
for about 7 years, and after this time we realized that we want to share this experience with everyone!
Why the name Morekuri Safaris, you ask?
Well, Morekuri is the Sotho name for Tambotie tree, and on our little piece of paradise you will find ample
amount of Tambotie trees in various sizes.
The official definition of Safari is "An expedition to observe animals in their natural habitat."
And that is exactly why you should stay with us in Dinokeng.
Come observe the wildlife from your car, your tent, your campsite, or come bird watching at our watering hole next to the lodge. Whatever you choose to do, the most important thing WE want from you,
is to enjoy the Morekuri experience.
